About the client....

 Philip Morris International (PMI) is a company in the midst of transformation. Originally founded in 1847, PMI are building our future on replacing cigarettes with smoke-free products that—while not risk-free—are a better alternative than cigarette smoking. It’s the biggest shift in PMI’s history. And it’s the right one for consumers and society. Led by science and innovation, and with the right regulatory encouragement and support from civil society, PMI are looking to achieve their vision of a smoke-free future, faster. PMI have recently transformed their marketing and media organisations towards greater centralisation, they are looking to enhance and scale the quality and delivery in every market. As PMI’s recently appointed agency of record, we are excited to help PMI on their transformational journey. They see communications as a transformation engine and we, as Publicis, are in a prime position to deliver this as we help connect across the key disciplines.

About the role....

You will be a core part of the Global team with focus on Duty Free activity for PMI, working to drive best in class planning, activation, and local market execution working closely with the Digital Strategy and Account teams. This role sits at a cross-section between Global Planning and Strategy and Local Planning and Activation and offers an exciting opportunity to drive change at Global level and work closely with PMI markets globally to drive adoption and impact.

The right candidate will be able to work closely with (and in return, have great exposure to) various teams and stakeholders providing you the opportunity to learn across agency functions and be part of multiple exciting digital projects. This will, ultimately, help define your career path within the agency group.

Key responsibilities....

You will be expected to manage a broad range of digital workstreams, collaborating with stakeholders across both Zenith and Philip Morris.

Planning & Strategy

  1. Support the Global Account & Digital Director in the creation of yearly Duty-Free strategy
  2. Creation and update global media plans
  3. Work with media partners and internal on activating media plans globally
  4. Development and presentation of PCAs
  5. Source new media partners to expand PMI Duty Free’s remit
  6. Management of strategic workstreams including test and learn and management of our strategic partnerships to maximise results and ensure adoption within business.
  7. Implementation of clear measurement and process to ensure planning, monitoring, and optimization of core business metrics across all Publicis and PMI stakeholders

Client Servicing & Management

  1. Support management of key client stakeholders across digital tasks and workstreams.
  2. Develop relationships with internal stakeholders to be seen as a key point of reference on the PMI Duty Free team
  3. Media Owner relationship management  
  4. Be the Go-to-person for all guidance & support for Duty free offerings from PMI

What you need to succeed....

PMI have a strong focus on leveraging strategic data and technology to unlock smarter planning and measurement. You will therefore need to understand and articulate how technology – ad verification, dynamic messaging – can enable brands to engage with consumers and influence their behaviour.

You enjoy working with data and have very strong attention to detail. As a strong team player who is keen to learn and results-driven, you will come into this role ready to take responsibility for the effective implementation of activity within the accounts and be eager to share your knowledge with the wider team.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in digital planning and activation including experience in using tools such as CM360, DV360, Google Ads, Google Analytics, and Facebook Business Manager
  • Strong understanding of media research, measurement, and insight tools – you know their strengths/weaknesses, and when and how to effectively use them
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team training and leadership skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, particularly explaining technical concepts to those in non-technical roles
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Keen attention to detail and an analytical approach to achieving objectives
  • Strong Excel knowledge and PowerPoint skills
  • Project management and communication skills to be able to engage with multiple stakeholders to drive delivery of projects.
  • Highly organized with previous examples of delivering projects in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high standard of work.
  • Evidence of being solution driven and innovative with how they drive performance and delivery.

Additional Information

Publicis Groupe operates a hybrid working pattern with employees being office-based on Mondays and two other days during the working week.
