We are currently seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Driver with a 3 & 4 number license to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy-duty vehicles and a valid UAE driving license. As a Heavy Duty Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to and from construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and manoeuvre heavy duty vehicles, such as trucks and trailers, in adherence to traffic rules and regulations.
- Transport construction materials, machinery, and equipment to and from various sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring that they are in proper working condition.
- Load, unload, and secure materials on trucks.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of construction equipment and machinery.
- Follow scheduled routes and make deliveries in a timely manner.
- Plan and map out routes to ensure efficient and safe travel.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure that all necessary paperwork, such as delivery notes and bills of lading, are completed accurately and on time.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
- Valid UAE driving license with a 3 & 4 number license.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Driver, preferably in the construction industry.
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
- Knowledge of UAE traffic rules and regulations.
- Ability to operate heavy duty vehicles, such as trucks and trailers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including heavy lifting.
- Good time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
