ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a switched-on, proactive Senior Project Manager / Senior Producer (reporting to our Project Director) to create some of our more complex events from the beginning to the very end and owning areas of larger projects. You will have a passion for supporting the growth of our more junior members of the team, potentially taking on line management responsibilities if your experience lends to this.

RESPONSIBILITIES
EVENT PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Project manage high-quality, creative and complex events from briefing, design and planning through to onsite delivery. This will involve gaining a full understanding of the client’s aims and objectives and close management of all aspects of the project across the entire project delivery team.
- At times, own a complex area of a larger-scale project, maintaining strong collaboration with the event’s Project Director and wider team.
- Lead and contribute to project meetings and communications with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the project cycle.
- Create and adhere to internal critical paths, client deadlines and supplier deadlines, delegating responsibility and authority whilst still managing deadlines across the entire project team.
- Source venues and suppliers with strong negotiating skills (price, services, scope, timings etc), managing and understanding contracts, highlighting key information internally and to clients.
- Hold a good knowledge of A/V, managing A/V requirements for projects and collaborating with the Production Director for larger-scale events.
- Create branding scope & deliverables briefing documents specific to each venue, collaborating with the design team.
- Coordinate site visits and create reports for internal and client usage.
- Create on site documentation, run of show, team briefings, manage host schedules, supplier and staff contact lists, crew lists.
- Manage travel and accommodation for the internal team, clients and suppliers.
- Budget management for projects of all different sizes and in various currencies (quotes, POs, payment schedules, invoice processing).
- Capable with ‘scope creep’ principles and ensuring our time charged matches the time spent, particularly when client requirements change.
- Accurate budget reconciliation, keeping a keen eye on your profit margins.
- Fully understand, follow and implement internal processes and importantly ensure they are being followed by other junior members of the team.
- Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and delivery process with a proposal of how they could be applied.
- Foster strong relationships with clients at all levels, understanding how our support can make their life easier.
- Create strong relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders, such as event sponsors.
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Work on and sometimes lead RFP's, supporting the rest of the team in the preparation of RFPs/proposals and guide junior members during that process
- Take a commercially minded approach to client management, identifying potential opportunities for Sleek with existing clients and ensure they are maximised. Bringing such opportunities to the awareness of the Business Development team and Founder.
- Provide social media content when attending networking events, FAMs, exhibitions etc
- Networking within the industry by attending relevant events and leveraging existing contacts.
TEAM DEVELOPMENT
- Be a key player in the events team, offering support and guidance to junior members of the team, explaining reasoning for actions/tasks/approaches and being seen as a ‘go to person’
- Maintain awareness of team capacities and when there may be issues with the ability to deliver projects
- Input into resource planning for projects, when asked, to ensure the right teams are in place for different projects
- Line management responsibilities if you have experience in/passion for this area
