Qualifications

Position Overview

In this role, you will support the Blow Molding Department to produce a quality product in a safe and efficient manner. This entails completion of preventative/reactive maintenance, process troubleshooting of blow molding operations and facility equipment and identifying areas for improvement.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Repairs and maintains equipment in accordance with operations manuals and manufacturing specifications.
• Maintain gearboxes, pneumatics, conveyors, and equipment using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring.
• Read machine electrical blueprints and problem-solve issues on equipment.
• Inspect used parts for wear and tolerances.
• Grease and lubricate equipment according to PM schedule.
• Rebuild equipment and repair / replace defective parts on machinery.
• Maintain logbook.
• Follow all company procedures regarding GMP’s and sanitation requirements.
• Need to complete all PM tasks as scheduled.
• Complete assigned projects independently or in team environment.
• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
