The Go-To-Market Operations team brings together strategy, operations, and transformation, to future-proof SAP with agile go-to market strategy designs and end-to-end business insights to recommendation to transformation execution, powered through an effective use of digital modalities.  Operations teams directly support business execution across SAP's Board Areas of Customer Success, Marketing & Solutions, and Customer Service & Delivery. 

 

Marketing & Solutions Operations is responsible for overall Marketing execution, delivering operational excellence across all functions of the Marketing & Solutions board area as part of the global GTM Operations & Strategy team. Core ownership includes day-to-day operations across marketing, performance management and insights, business planning and budget management. Priority topics include delivering strategy to execution, actionable insights, transformation programs, and strategic projects. 

 

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business leadership/management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising, project management and execution, and key interdepartmental collaboration. A roll-up-the-sleeves approach is key as is strong executive presence, results-driven, analytical rigor, and ability to work under pressure to handle time-sensitive projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Maximize Effectiveness:
    • Partners with SIX leadership team to drive operational agenda and advance key initiatives. Develop and build relationships with SIX team members for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations. Define new operational strategies by working with the Marketing & Solutions Operations leader and key stakeholders.
    • Implements best practices and standards to ensure consistency and scalability
    • Drives alignment and consistencies between various board areas, including CS, P&C and CS&D
    • Ensures the transition from strategy to execution in terms of bottom-line results 
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Drives alignment and consistencies between corporate strategy, global/regional GTM strategy, and cross-functional priorities.  
    • Oversees the development, documentation, and optimization of Marketing & Solutions processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Drives a data-driven culture, leveraging analytics to measure and optimize marketing performance. 
  • Strategic Initiatives:
    • Plan strategy and planning cycles, connecting different points of view to help operations and leadership plan with the best possible business context. This includes timeline development, supporting teams to complete associated deliverables, and working collaboratively to prepare executive presentations.
    • Frame problems and propose structures/models that help people better understand the problem and trade-offs.

 

Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years in sales or marketing operations, business, or executive management role. Consulting experience with a focus on operations management a plus.
  • Master’s degree in business administration or similar field - preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Project/Program Management with emphasis with complex business coordination and process improvement during hyper growth stage.
  • Proven experience in business analytics, strategy development, business operations development, due diligence.
  • Must possess unquestionable character and absolute integrity and discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Proven leader with a blend of superior strategic, operational, program/project management, and leadership skills.
  • Possess exceptional attention to detail, strong initiative, comfort in matrixed and/or consulting environments, and critical thinking skills.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 117,100 - 243,400 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.  SAP offers limited benefits for employees hired into hourly or like roles subject to appliable plan/policy terms. A summary of benefits and eligibility requirements can be found by clicking this link:  SAP North America Benefits.
