Objective & Purpose
SAP is looking for a Social Media Graphic Designer to support our Global Social Media Marketing Team. We're looking for a passionate and ridiculously creative Graphic Designer to take our global social content to the next level. The candidate should have an eye for effective yet elevated design, with an understanding of both global and regional design considerations and nuances.
As part of our newly formed Social Creative Team, you'll be working closely with other creatives, social strategists, and social managers across brand and solution teams to bring thumb-stopping content to our audience.
What you’ll do
- Develop designs from brief to concept through to production-ready assets, aligning with the creative direction, production schedule, and platform specifications.
- Design duties include, but are not limited to, graphics for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X, and YouTube
- Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and content briefs.
- Research and create trend guides or mood boards, supporting projects and concepts.
- Stay updated with the latest design trends and strategies, adapting new resources/techniques where needed.
- Present designs to the Creative Director and stakeholders, receiving and implementing feedback promptly.
- Collaborate with a team of Creatives, Social Strategists, and Social Managers to support the creative process.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as this role will interface directly with cross-functional teams.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your creativity, originality, and ability to create engaging content.
- Expert skills in visual and written communication
- Proficiency in design software such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Adobe Express
- Proven track record in graphic design with a strong portfolio
- An in-depth understanding of social media trends and narratives
- An eye for aesthetics
Preferred skills
- Experience with motion design is a strong asset.
What your team will do
- Build winning social media content strategies for SAP social media channels as part of programmatic strategies including editorial planning and prioritization, from intake of briefs to detailed measurement reports.
- Prepare detailed campaign plans and creative briefs to deliver best-in-class social content while ensuring alignment across all channels and adherence to team goals.
- Work cross-functionally to complete content analysis and identify applicable insights to optimize effectiveness.
- Stay up to date with trends and platform evolutions in the social media space and suggest new ways to implement these into our processes.
- Deliver informed and insightful audience insights that help us achieve goals and answer audience needs.
- Own and optimize the operational model for global social media content creation, publication, engagement, and measurement.
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years combined working experience in a social media, influencer marketing and/or digital marketing role.
- Experience in strategic brainstorming, content development, and creative brief development.
- Proven ability to develop social creative is a requirement (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.)
- Experience taking goals and translating them into creative projects.
- Embrace transformation, think on your feet, and adapt your strategy and plan to meet the needs of the changing social media landscape.
- Needs to be a creative thinker and problem solver, thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize, and oversee multiple projects with attention to detail.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 82,700 - 178,300 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
