The Head of Supply Chain – Procurement will be responsible in leading the procurement function and be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement plans to support PXGEO's operations and growth.

As the Head of Supply Chain - Procurement, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of equipment, materials, and services required for our OBN and MTS projects. You will lead a team of procurement professionals and collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to optimize procurement processes and drive operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement forward looking procurement strategies to support PXGEO's operations.
• Lead and manage the procurement team of 3 to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
• Evaluate and implement appropriate procurement structure with adequate resourcing.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify procurement needs and establish vendor selection criteria.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize cost and quality.
• Drive Material cost productivity and establish KPI’s/Metrics to track progress.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Monitor and analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.  Set up mid/long term plan to mitigate inflationary pressures.
• Implement procurement tools and technologies to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Oversee supplier evaluation and performance management processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement roles, preferably in the Marine Seismic industry
• Proven track record of successfully leading procurement teams and implementing strategic procurement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and industry trends
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with procurement tools and technologies.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
