Meet The Team

You’ll be working in a team of 10 experienced Enterprise payment sales specialists and reporting directly to one of our Sales Directors who’s been at PayPal for almost 13 years!

Your Way to Impact:

You’ll have the opportunity to help accelerate the number of merchants that will accept PayPal services across traditional retail but also expanding into Travel, Utilities, Insurance, Gaming, Ticketing, Financial Services, B2B and many other non-traditional verticals of businesses. You’ll have the opportunity to work cross functionally with  major stakeholders across our business including customer success, finance, legal, integration, fraud, risk, marketing and partner management including liaising with and presenting to the senior leadership team of PayPal in the UK

Your day-to-day

  • Sell PayPal’s services to a targeted prospect list to achieve an annual incremental transaction margin targets. This will include existing merchant, upsell internal referrals.
  • Build senior relationships up to C level across multiple functions and divisions with all prospects. 
  • Manage client relationships from lead to live and onwards in conjunction with Account Management. 
  • Be an authority in the eyes of your customer through a consultative selling approach. 
  • This role is predominantly office based but with the opportunity to travel certainly within the UK and beyond if necessary. 2 days on the road per week meeting perspective merchants is what we generally expect when it comes to managing your diary. 

What do you need to bring:

  • Previous experience in direct sales, selling into medium, large and enterprise level companies
  • An ability to effectively manage a pipeline of sales opportunities and to be an organised administrator working within a defined sales process is also preferable. 
  • Experience of presenting and negotiating with C-Level personnel including CEO, CFO’s, CTO etc. 
  • A track record of achieving and exceeding financial targets. 
  • Develop rapport through telephone and face to face meetings to move discussions forward by demonstrating value the value that PayPal brings. 
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, with a good attention to detail. 
  • Good team player with collaborative approach and ability to forge constructive relationships quickly whilst being able to work alone and deal with ambiguity.
