This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Requirements
Roles and responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an overarching communication strategy that supports the organization's objectives.
- Align communication efforts with the company's values, vision, and brand identity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.
- Monitor media coverage and proactively address any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Lead and mentor a team of communication professionals, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-performance standards.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of communication strategies
- Manage communication budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately for maximum impact.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a senior communication role, preferably as a Chief/Director of Communication or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms.
