Fine Fragrances Senior Evaluator – DUBAI, UAE – Your future Position?

As a fragrance Evaluator within the Consumer Products Team, you will be responsible for managing all the Fine Fragrance Briefs and projects by our key Consumer Products Customers across SAMEA region. This will also includes growing our FF business with key distributors in the region, and addressing the needs of the fragmented market with robust creative collections development.

This role would be based in Dubai, UAE, and you would report to the Creative Fragrance Director.

In this exciting role you will:

Projects

• Work on fine fragrance briefs by our key CP customers
• Manage projects and priorities to support the growth of the category with existing resources
• Collaborate with other colleagues, in the Fine Fragrance team as well as Consumer Products teams
• Decide on the right approach and strategy to address briefs
• Manage internal resources and build a solid knowledge of our FF libraries
• Work closely with Sales team to develop the business
• Address the needs of the fragmented business and distributors across the region

Development

• Motivate and stimulate perfumers to achieve optimum creation
• Understand customer requirements and address the briefs with the right creations
• Build proactive collections to stimulate sales and growth
• Build a solid understanding of the local Library and contribute to the development of the themes
• Develop a solid olfactive knowledge of the key markets in the region
• Engage with customers and distributors in meetings or workshops

Market & Consumers

• Build an understanding of the consumers needs across the different geographies
• Monitor and follow the latest launches in the region and the impact on consumer preferences
• Track the regional and global trends and reflect on briefs

Your professional profile includes:

• Advanced degree in perfumery with a minimum 5 years experience in fine fragrances in the same role
• Knowledge of the industry and the customers
• Good knowledge of naturality aspects
• Passion for perfume and olfaction
• Excellent communication skills, (as well as diplomacy, tenacity, curiosity, resilience, creativity, pro-activity, storytelling)
• Excellent organisation skills, and the ability to handle several projects at once
• Fluency in English
