MMS Analyst (2 Years Fixed Term) at Keolis

Job Descrption

The purpose of this document is to describe the position of Maximo Analyst within the Keolis MHI Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) organization. The missions and activities described below are not exhaustive and may evolve to better suit the needs of Keolis MHI.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough analysis and requirements gathering to determine business and service agreement requirements and deliverables, to identify opportunities for process improvement, system optimization and developments to fulfil.
  • Development of Business Requirement Specification (BRS) documents to detail requirements and deliverables, potential dependencies and related documentation.
  • Development and updating of technical documentation and processes, including work instructions, procedures and training materials to document technical solutions and support processes.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate users on the process, functionality and best practices of the IBM Maximo system, incorporating engagement with Learning & Development to facilitate.
  • Assessing the impact of changes, communicating changes to stakeholders, and assisting with user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation support.
  • Configure and customize the IBM Maximo system to align with the business asset management processes, incorporating defining data fields, workflows, security settings, and user roles. Develop and implement customizations using Maximo's built-in scripting and customization tools.
  • Drive continuous improvements to working practices and processes to optimise efficiency and quality, incorporating proactive recommendations to streamline or improve system and/or data capabilities, incorporating solutions to reduce or minimise helpdesk tickets.
  • Assist in the development of business cases to support strategic investment in systems, processes and/or solutions to enhance system and/or data capabilities.
  • Development of complex SQL queries to support business user requirements.
  • Deputise for the MMS Solution Architect Manager for periods of leave, or as required.
  • Support and actively contribute in MMS working groups, forums and meetings.
  • Support day-to-day operation management of MMS, incorporating administration of MMS helpdesk tickets, user and security group management as required.
  • Support to establish working relationships with external stakeholders, including client and wider Keolis subsidiaries, supporting MMS knowledge and best practice sharing.
  • Perform other duties as instructed/directed/agreed with the MMS Solution Architect Manager or Line Management.
  • No visitor is allowed access in the premises or work site without suitable identification and PPE (if applicable).
  • Visitor is informed to about safety rules be followed on entering the site.
  • Visitor is informed of available emergency evacuations instructions on entering the site.
  • Visitor movement is restricted to required area only.

 

KEY SKILLS

 

  • Self-motivated and resilient, with strong organisational skills to effectively and efficiently manage and prioritise multiple workstreams in a fast-paced team-orientated environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to develop detailed documents and processes, and translate technical requirements to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to logically approach problems in order to understand issues, identify root cause, and propose appropriate recommendations or solutions.
  • Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders across various functions and departments in order to manage expectations, extract information, influence change, and work collaboratively to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Ability to understand complex systems and willingness to learn new software-based applications and methods of working.
  • High attention to detail and committed to data integrity.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.
  • Able and willing to share opinion, challenge the ‘norm’ and contribute ideas and suggestions to improve working practices.

 

 

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience of Maximo 7.6.x or higher, experience of Maximo Application Suite (MAS) is desirable.
  • Experience of business process mapping and documentation.
  • Experience in business and user requirements gathering, incorporating stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience of Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
  • Experience of developing BIRT Reports.
  • Experience of advanced application of SQL/TSQL.

 

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Sciences, Engineering or related discipline;
  • IBM Certified Deployment Professional and/or IBM Certified Functional Analyst is desirable
