POSITION SUMMARY
Nespresso UAE is looking to hire a Logistics and Delivery Service Coordinator, who will effectively support the day-to-day operations in the warehouse and play an effective role between the Customer Service and Warehouse team. They will be responsible for the stock reconciliation, supervising the warehouse operations including inbound, outbound and delivery. They will support in driving process efficiency initiatives and lead the operations review while ensuring the best practices are in place and are followed.
A Day in the Life…
- Responsible for the inbound, outbound and all other warehouse issues to ensure resolution.
- Looking after the operational excellence in inventory management, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Ensure accurate picking by the warehouse team.
- Ensure good practices are in place.
- Monitor and assess the service level of the service providers.
- Ensure material handling best practices implemented in the warehouse operation.
- Responsible to manage the daily operations.
- Lead safety practices where applicable.
- Control and validate all the invoices related to warehouse and distribution activities.
- Ensure inventory quality is maintained.
- Manage operational spend according to assigned responsibility through effective cost management.
- Maintain a continuous improvement mindset through applying best practices.
What will make you successful …
- 1-3 years relevant experience and successful operational experience in warehousing and/or distribution
- Strong communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
