Based in Dubai and reporting directly into the Specification Manager. As a BIM Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in driving the implementation and utilization of BIM methodologies throughout our projects. You will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to optimize project workflows and deliverables using BIM software tools.

What you can expect

• Conduct BIM awareness sessions through presentations and webinars for external designers and architects, fostering understanding and adoption of BIM methodologies.
• Collaborate with designers, authorities, and in-house architectural consultants to understand project requirements and develop tailored BIM solutions.
• Create tools, plugins, and scripts to meet designers' BIM needs and facilitate implementation and BIM specification processes.
• Review architectural plans and coordinate with the specification team to ensure BIM compliance across various plans and documents.
• Develop door hardware schedules, access control diagrams, specification documents, and technical data sheets in alignment with project requirements and timelines.
• Cultivate relationships with industry BIM professionals to elevate BIM standards and promote collaborative activities.
• Pursue and maintain industry-specific certifications, stay updated on digital planning advancements, attend trainings and exhibitions, and keep abreast of industry developments.
• Share knowledge, develop tools, and create documents to support internal team members in BIM implementation.
• Maintain project records in MEA Spec App CRM and shared folders, ensuring accurate documentation and organization.
• Actively engage in new marketing and specification initiatives related to BIM, contributing innovative ideas and strategies.
• Stay informed about current market trends in the BIM field and provide relevant updates and insights to the team.

What we expect

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Proven experience in conducting BIM awareness sessions and implementing BIM solutions.
• Proficiency in BIM software tools such as Revit, Dynamo, Python, Autodesk Construction Cloud and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel, Power Point, and Word.
• Strong understanding of project requirements and ability to develop tailored BIM solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work within project timelines.
