Job Profile

SAP Customer References and Advocates team (CR&A) seeks a seasoned Program Manager as part of its Value Stories and Strategic Insights team.  You will be part of a team responsible for managing and growing a compelling and persuasive customer reference program that provides timely customer value reference stories and delivers impactful business transformation case studies in support of sales, analyst relations, field events, and other marketing activities.  You will lead and manage the regional customer reference value story program and manage various strategic customer projects in close coordination with regional marketing and ICA leaders. Reporting to the Global Head of Value Stories and Strategic Initiatives team, you will be responsible for delivering impactful customer value stories and defining and implementing transformation programs to support global CR&A objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Program management, ensuring the execution and achievement of critical milestones, deadlines, and deliverables by removing roadblocks and facilitating stakeholder alignment.
  • Develop and oversee the regional customer value reference stories program across.  This includes the identification, nomination, qualification, preparation, interviewing, story development, and publication of customer value reference stories.
  • Manage customer reference metrics/goals/benchmarks and track/report progress against them.
  • Partner and lead with influence with senior-level stakeholders across Industry and Customer Advisory, Industry CMSO, local and regional marketing teams.
  • Incubate and execute projects aimed at increasing content quality, increase consumption, and effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Provide leadership and liaison across all cross-functional teams and align key stakeholders in executive teams to project manage and deliver critical strategic initiatives aimed at transforming SAP CR&A process and tools.
  • Manage interdependencies and integration among multiple projects, teams, and stakeholders across SAP. Maintain proactive communication with senior-level stakeholders, keeping them informed of project status and progress while managing change requests at pace.

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong Program Management experience leading multiple customer-facing programs across the life cycle, working with varied functional groups.
  • Significant project management experience in the context of transformative innovation with a focus on value-led outcomes.
  • Successful track record and excellence in presenting to senior management and executives across business units.
  • Master’s degree or equivalents in business administration, computer science, or related fields with a strong focus on finance, project management, or strategy.
  • 10+ years of experience in program management or related fields, preferably in technology or digital.  Field experience as an IVA or IBU is an asset.
  • Manage high-touch customer reference relationships.
  • Deep understanding of SAP’s cloud business and market trends, including data analytics and automation. Exceptional written/oral/interpersonal communication with the ability to clearly articulate complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience working directly with and interviewing senior-level customers (including C-suite).
  • Experience crafting, reviewing, editing, and publishing compelling marketing customer reference content.
