Job Description

Business development role:

Primary Focus: Identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, partners, or markets, and creating strategies for business growth. The role is more about strategic expansion and finding new revenue streams.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities and markets for our SaaS and Financial services within the UAE and KSA.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, Operation, TAX, Product and technology to develop and implement growth strategies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand trends, opportunities, and challenges in our target markets.
  • Negotiate and close business deals that contribute to our revenue and growth objectives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients and partners about our products and services.

Sales Role:

Primary Focus: Driving sales within a company. This involves managing the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, developing sales strategies and plans, and ensuring the team's performance aligns with the company’s goals.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets for both SaaS and Financial services.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to ensure optimal performance.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Manager to align sales and marketing strategies, especially in lead generation, brand promotion, and market penetration.
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for new or improved offerings.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients and partners in the UAE and KSA, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to forecast sales, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
  • Provide training and support to the sales team, ensuring they are equipped with in-depth knowledge of our products and services.
  • Ensure targets are delivered through people management, performance review, reward and individual recognition

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven track record as a Business Development Manager or Sales manager in the SaaS or Financial services industry (4 plus years of experience in managerial position).
  • Strong understanding of and experience in the UAE or KSA markets.
  • Excellent leadership, networking, negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams across the organization.
  • Preferable to have Experience in digital marketing.
  • Preferable Arabic speaker, but English fluency is a must
